The modular cardiothoracic training system is suitable for minimally invasive as well as open interventions in the area of the thorax. It enables the development, testing and training of medical technology products as well as the learning and training of basic skills and procedure training. The training system is suitable for radiology and is therefore also suitable for intraoperative imaging.

The system includes:

• Individual, realistic skin simulation, suturable

• Bony structures (spine, ribs, sternum)

• Reproduction of the heart with adjacent vessels

• Reproduction of the aorta to diaphragmatic passage

• Ripstop

• Optional: Thorax with sternotomy and open access to the heart
