The Mamma Sono Phantom was developed together with specialists in mamma examination and ultrasound application. The training system allows the combined use of palpation, ultrasound examination and biopsy (e.g. punch biopsy, fine needle biopsy (FNB)) in one model.

Our SimOrgan® material mimics the ultrasound properties of breast tissue very realistically. The haptic properties of the training model also enable tactile detection of the contained pathologies.

The Mamma Sono Phantom contains a total of 10 hyperechogenic and hypoechogenic pathologies in varying combination, size and location. The colored targets allow a good control of success. The random arrangement avoids a repetition effect when several models are used one after another.

The compact dimensions (340 x 225 x 110 mm) of the training system and the packaging in a robust transport case make the system ideal for use at conferences, trade fairs and congresses. It is compatible with ultrasonic devices of all manufacturers. At the same time it offers excellent ultrasound image quality.
