Preoperative Training Model - Bones and vascular models

The basis for each individual model is the patient's data from CT, MRI or other radiological imaging procedures. We use AI-based software to convert the data into a 3D model. The models are then manufactured using the latest 3D printing technology. They can be made from a variety of materials:

  • soft silicone: realistically mimics the tactile characteristics of the model.

  • rigid plastic for highlighted vessels and pathologies (e.g. tumor tissue), as well as bone structures with cortical bone and spongiosa

  • SimOrgan** material: realistically mimics the tactile properties of the model, is ultrasound-compatible and can be manipulated by electrosurgery

After receiving the patient data, we manufacture your model within 2-5 days depending on the complexity. After completion, we will ship it - please allow approx. 3-5 days for shipping.

…and for the hospital:

  • patient-specific models can greatly aid a physician’s preparation prior to surgery

  • improve implant positioning and sizing

  • provide physicians with accurate visualization of difficult pathologies

Here are the benefits for the patient:

  • better understanding of the medical problem

  • decreased operation time

  • decreased radiation exposure during surgery

  • benefits in patient outcome

And this is how it works:

  1. Select the category of the desired bony structure

  2. Press “Add to cart” button

  3. Continue shopping in the store or proceed to checkout

  4. We will provide you a link to our secure data upload centre

  5. Once you have received the link, please upload your medical image data set*.

  6. We will inform you about the receipt of the data and the expected delivery date.

  7. At the specified time, you will receive a HumanX package with your individual anatomical model

*Medical image data requirements

  • Data format: DICOM
  • Minimum resolution: 1.2 mm or better
  • Anonymized if possible
  • Series affiliation of individual images must be preserved
